Sophia is the Operations Lead & Client Experience Manager at Alex Kaar Australia and plays a pivotal role in the firm’s day-to-day performance, operational effectiveness, and overall client and candidate experience.
Sophia joined Alex Kaar in 2019 and has since progressed into a senior leadership role, working closely with the Managing Partner and broader leadership team to ensure the business operates efficiently, consistently, and at the highest professional standard. She is responsible for overseeing firm operations, implementing and refining internal processes, and supporting the delivery of executive search assignments through strong systems, coordination, and governance.
With over 10 years’ experience supporting senior leaders and professional services environments, Sophia brings deep expertise across operations management, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level support. She commenced her career at Galbally & O’Bryan, working in Family Law, before moving into Barristers’ Chambers where she supported senior counsel at QC level. Her background spans legal, media, and fashion industries, equipping her with a strong foundation in discretion, structure, and complex workflow management.
Sophia is known for her ability to bring clarity, organisation, and momentum to fast-paced environments, ensuring both internal teams and external stakeholders experience a seamless and considered engagement with the firm.
Complementing her operational expertise, Sophia is a qualified Fashion Designer, having graduated from the Melbourne School of Fashion. Her creative background informs her approach to problem-solving, communication, and experience design, and she continues to pursue garment creation in her spare time.
