About

Kate Klease is an executive advisor, interim and fractional Chief People Officer, and experienced Non-Executive Director with more than 20 years’ experience advising Boards, CEOs and executive teams through periods of transformation, growth and organisational change.

She works with organisations during critical inflection points, often stepping in as an interim or fractional executive to stabilise performance, lead transformation and deliver operating model and workforce change. Her expertise spans people and culture, organisational performance, operating model design and AI-enabled workforce transformation, with a focus on translating strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.

Kate has worked across a broad range of sectors including financial services, disability, mining, manufacturing and turnaround management, partnering closely with Boards and executive teams to navigate complexity, risk and performance in both commercial and purpose-led environments.

She has held senior executive leadership roles working directly with Boards and Executive Leadership Teams on strategy execution, organisational capability, executive remuneration, governance, culture and business performance.

Kate also brings board experience as a Non-Executive Director across aged care, disability, community services and social enterprise organisations. Her governance expertise includes people and culture, executive performance and remuneration, risk, succession planning and the implications of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Kate holds executive education qualifications in AI Leadership and Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
