As a Director of Alex Kaar, Tim leads our Executive Services business. His focus is programs for Executives and Leaders either in Transition or looking to lift and evolve their executive capability.
Throughout a corporate and executive career that spanned more than 25 years, Tim focused on the alignment of leadership, strategy and culture. He has led a diverse range of businesses spanning small and complex teams in global organisations to large divisions of commercial banks with more than 500 people and $500m in revenue. Tim also has many years of experience working with companies of all sizes realizing new opportunities and finding solutions to their largest challenges.
Since 2015, Tim has been working with iconic educator Colin James – supporting, advising and developing company leaders across Australia and around the world in a variety of industries. That partnership continues to bring great benefit to both firms and their clients.
Tim is values and purpose-led. He believes sustainable growth and performance is the product of purposeful thought, feelings and actions. Tim works with senior executives and their teams to develop leadership capability, communication & influence and practical commercial instincts and behaviour. His experience in corporate leadership equips him to provoke, partner and support leaders as they face into the challenges and opportunities of their careers.
Holding a number of governance roles, Tim is an experienced NED and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is the Faculty Head of the Australian Institute of Coaching. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Eco/Acc), a Diploma of Financial Services and a Masters of Applied Finance. He has partially completed a Masters of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
